Town
Book Reception at Heartstone Books.
7-10 pm Gala Evening "Kick-Off"
An evening of dinner and dancing at the Putney Inn. Live music with
Peter Tavalin, Katie Graves, Sean Pentland, and Hayden Lake. Swing lessons
provided by Nancy Gagnon and Bob Burch. Tickets $15. Advance tickets
may be purchased before August 12th at the Putney Inn or Town Hall for
$12.

6:30 pm Family Entertainment at the new Putney
Public Library site
Peter Gould performs "For the Love of Pie." A variety of pies
and lemonade will
be served after the show. This family event is free, and everyone is
invited to
walk the "footprint" of the new building, which will be marked
and signed.
7 pm Reception- Kathan Family Reunion
at The United Church of Putney.
7-10 pm Teen Dance
Ben Blomgren as DJ at the Putney Community Center.
8 pm Captain John Kathan and Family: First English
Settlers
Presentation by Boardman Kathan at The United Church of Putney.
